Rep. Adrian Smith Opening Statement on the Educational Choice for Children Act at recent Congressional Hearing

The U.S. House Committee on Education & Workforce Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education, chaired by Rep. Aaron Bean (R-FL), held a hearing on 4-18-23 titled “School Choice: Expanding Educational Freedom for All.”

Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE), senior member of the House Ways & Means Committee and lead sponsor of H.R. 531, the Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA), provided testimony on the ECCA during a member panel.
